Handling Classes

Prerequisite:
This class is for people interested in showing their dog in breed competition for championship points. It is designed to teach handler and dog what is required to compete in dog shows. The experience is invaluable before going out to compete.
Classes are held at St. Matthews Episcopal Church on South Main St. in Horseheads, NY.
Two 45 minute classes are offered; 6:30 to 7:15 pm. and 7:30 to 8:15.

Conformation Class Regulations
a) You are responsible for clean-up both inside and outside around the church.
b) Only paid members are allowed on the mats during class time. Individual floor exercises are for the handler to experience one time. If you are working more than one dog, your next dog will have to take a turn at whatever pattern is offered next by the instructor.
c) A handler is to have only 2 dogs per class.
d) Participants may alternate different dogs from week to week.
e) If in the opinion of the class coordinator, you or your dog are disruptive or menacing to another dog or person, you may be asked to withdraw from the class and/or all remaining classes. No refund will be issued.
f) Bitches in season will NOT be allowed to participate in class. No refunds will be made for missed classes.
SPECTATORS – PLEASE REFRAIN FROM SIDELINE COACHING & TALKING
